Frequently Asked Questions

Let's talk it through.

I’m a licensed therapist located in Texas. For me to ethically provide online psychotherapy, you must be in the state of Texas for all scheduled sessions as well.

You can expect that I’ll ask where you’re joining in for your session, until it’s obvious that you’re in a consistently familiar place as our therapeutic rapport grows.

You’re welcome to meet for your session in a space you feel comfortable in, with a few conditions to keep in mind.

To ensure we can hear one another well, consider a quiet space or one free of background noise.

For the most uninterrupted attention and your safety, I strongly encourage you not to drive during your scheduled therapy time. Please be stationary.

I also ask that you be free of any mind-altering substances, including liquor, THC/cannabis-related products, etc. This helps ensure you are in a mindset open to receiving and retaining what is navigated during your therapy sessions.

I do not take insurance. I am immediately available to private-pay clients.

Payments are automatically made after each scheduled session via online transactions. You will receive an invoice after each transaction.

Your credit or debit card information will be collected before your intake session and charged after each session. If you would like to pay for a specific number of sessions upfront, we can arrange this for you.

Yes. The late cancellation fee is $150.

Yes. You will be charged the full fee of $210 for all no-show sessions.

Emergencies do occur, and if this happens, there will be a conversation before any fee is applied for missing the scheduled session.

Please communicate any financial changes or concerns during your therapy session. I am here to explore possibilities to maintain our therapeutic relationship.

At your initial consultation or intake session, the details of what you want and/or may need from therapy will be explored to confirm whether moving forward will be a good fit.

If it is not, I am happy to explore other therapeutic fits with you and connect you accordingly.

You can expect a conversation that will feel a bit like introducing yourself to someone for the first time, blended with asking and answering new questions.

If at any time you feel slightly uneasy or a bit anxious, that’s okay. It’s a common part of doing something new, and I welcome you to share that experience as we talk.

Don’t see your question here? Send me a message – I’m happy to talk.
